2011 Haiti Art Expo to Benefit Hand in Hand for Haiti

2011 Haiti Art Expo, Park West Gallery, Hand in Hand for HaitiParty for a cause! Park West Gallery invites you to a special cocktail reception for Haiti Art Expo 2011 on Friday, December 2, from 7-11 pm, during the 10th annual Art Basel Miami Beach.

Join us at the Moore Building’s second floor gallery, in the Miami Design District, for an evening of art and culture. Proceeds from the sale of artworks will benefit Hand in Hand for Haiti, a U.S.-based non-profit organization committed to building and operating a school in Saint-Marc, Haiti.

Be inspired by an exhibition of world-class Haitian art and bid on silent auction items including: a Triumph motorcycle, a Royal Caribbean cruise and handprints personally created by top celebrity supporters such as Harrison Ford, Ivanka Trump and Adrian Grenier.

A team of art experts and scholars from Park West Gallery will be mingling through the crowd to answer any questions about the art collection.

International Artist Dominic Pangborn Visits SPF Middle Schools

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD NEWS – On Monday, Nov. 14, internationally renowned Michigan based Artist Dominic Pangborn visited both Park and Terrill Middle Schools in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood School District. Pangborn was visiting courtesy of Park West CARES, the philanthropic arm of Park West Gallery, the largest art dealer in the world.

In addition to making one of their premier artists available to speak to SPF Middle School students, Park West Gallery is also making a generous donation of 20 works of art to the Education Enrichment Foundation of SPF. Those works of art will ultimately benefit SPF students district-wide.

While most students were expecting a boring lecture on the finer points of modern art, they were pleasantly surprised by Pangborn’s amusing and unassuming presentation…

DBusiness Features Beyond Basics Event at Park West Gallery

Hoping to make a difference in the lives of children, dozens of metro Detroiters were in attendance last Wednesday evening for the Beyond Basics fundraiser at Park West Gallery in Southfield.

Guests enjoyed cocktails, strolling appetizers and a live auction. Entertainment was provided by a musical performance from the Thirkell Elementary children’s choir. Park West Gallery artist Peter Nixon also made a special appearance.

The event raised significant funding for Beyond Basics, a local organization embracing literacy and the children of Detroit Public Schools.
