According to the Disney release: “Remember… it all started with a Mouse is a tribute to Walt’s legacy and visionary imagination. As part of this year’s D23 Expo, Disney Consumer Products commissioned local artist Noah to create an iconic graphic celebrating this year’s themes. In exquisite detail, Noah has captured the joy and laughter that come from Walt Disney’s ever-familiar and contagious smile. By carefully selecting a beautiful palette of colors, he cleverly reveals this year’s celebrated Disney film anniversaries, which include One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo and Beauty and the Beast.”

For the past decade, Noah has continued to magically interpret Disney characters through his unique style, which has become a favorite among Disney collectors worldwide.

In the following video exclusive, Noah talks about his inspiration for this very special commission. Watch as the artist brings the magic of Disney to life…

Park West Gallery Inspires Seattle Students with Celebrity Artist Noah

Park West Gallery provides art enrichment, donation to the International School

Seattle, WA – Park West Gallery furthered its national outreach initiative, Park West Gallery CARES, by donating 20 works by various artists to the International School in Bellevue, Washington on February 28, 2011. Additionally, Park West artist Noah gave an inspirational lecture to art students at the International School.

The International School is a nationally recognized public charter school, ranking among the top ten schools in the United States. It serves middle and high school students in the Bellevue School District in Bellevue, WA.

“We run a rigorous program in which students study seven years of seven subjects,” said the International School’s Nationally Board Certified Art and French teacher Enid Smith Becker. “Because of this, students have a rich experience in the arts, learning technique and developing a personal voice as they explore photography, drawing, painting, design, ceramics, glass and more. We greatly appreciate Noah’s talk as well as the beautiful artwork from Park West Gallery!”

The artist known simply as Noah is recognized globally for his amazing talent. His roster of clients includes name brands like Levi Strauss, Lexus, Toyota, CBS Television, Fox TV and The Walt Disney Company™, and numerous celebrity clients such as Craig T. Nelson, Val Kilmer, Barbra Streisand, Tom Cruise and Ted Danson. Noah gained global recognition for his work on The Learning Channel’s Rides, Universal Pictures’ 2 Fast 2 Furious, and MTV shows Meet the Barkers and Rob and Big. In 2006, Noah became the official painter for Arturo Fuente Cigars and has also teamed up with famous motor cross rider Carey Hart, of A&E’s Inked. Exclusive fine art by Noah is available through Park West Gallery and its international cruise art auctions.

“By providing seven years of arts for its students, the International School is leading the way in arts education. Through this donation and Noah’s art lecture, Park West Gallery hopes to assist this school in furthering its outstanding mission,” said Albert Scaglione, founder and CEO of Park West Gallery. “While our physical locations are in Michigan and Florida, we serve clients all across the country. We are privileged to assist these communities, like Seattle, along with our own.”

Launched in July, Park West Gallery CARES initially limited its outreach to organizations in the Detroit, MI and Miami, FL areas where Park West Gallery has physical locations. However, due to overwhelming positive feedback and subsequent requests, Park West Gallery has decided to extend the initiative to communities throughout the United States. The International School is one of many organizations that have received similar donations and artist talks provided by Park West Gallery CARES. Other recipients include the Lake Geneva Public Library in Lake Geneva, WI, the Youth Arts Corp. in St. Petersburg, FL, the City of Clayton’s public art program in Clayton, MO, and St. Mary’s Interparochial School in Philadelphia, PA.

I Want to Thank Park West…

“I want to thank Park West for the VIP event on the Explorer of the Seas, May 13th through May 23rd. This was our first VIP event and we really didn’t know what to expect. Sharon and I have taken many cruises and this was the most enjoyable of them all.

The Book of Love by Marko MavrovichWe thoroughly enjoyed all of the Park West staff (Simon, Adam, Rebecca, and SeBelle) and we appreciate all of the effort they put into the event. Great job!!! We also appreciated the humor and educational info that you brought to the auctions.

Meeting the three artists was a highlight of the trip. Every time I look at our painting by Marko I’ll be reminded of his antics!! Our pieces by Nano and Noah will also have special significance since we met the artists and now have a context for their work.

We also had a great time with the other couples who participated in the event. We plan to keep in touch with several new friends.

We look forward to a continuing relationship with Park West and, once again, thank you!”

Park West Customer Corner

Frank and I would like to thank you again for inviting us to be part of the Park West VIP Cruise. This was our first VIP cruise and we were impressed with how Park West did everything top notch from beginning to end.

Lone Star 60 by Tim YankeIt was exciting to get to meet the four different artists, Noah, Tim Yanke, Nano and of course Jerry Blank who was not scheduled for the VIP cruise but was able to join us. Each of these artists were a pleasure to meet. Their unique artwork and their personal stories made us appreciate them even more. We purchased artwork from each one of the artists and cannot wait to have them delivered. We were particularly excited when we received our first two peices of artwork this Saturday one of which was Tim Yanke’s, ‘Lone Star’. Tim is such an exceptional individual and we were pleased to have had the opportunity to spend time with him.

The art enrichment presentation was very informative and we learned to appreciate artwork that we would not have ever thought to even look at in the past. Special thanks to Chris, Simon, Samantha, EJ and Rebecca for doing such an excellent job. Please give our regards and thanks to each of them.

Thank You,

Frank and Ginette M.

Thank you for making me feel comfortable enough to say yes to the VIP cruise. It was truly an amazing experience. When we boarded the ship, I never would have thought I would acquire the works of art I now own. Getting to know Noah, Tim, Jerry and Nano gave me new insight not only into their work, but art in general.

Everyone from Park West was absolutely wonderful. Chris was a superb host. Rebecca, Sam and EJ were supportive and understanding. Simon was always there making sure everyone was being looked after properly.

The trip was everything you told me it would be and more. Thank you for a wonderful week I’ll never forget.

Fondly,
